"I sas' auditions were on and I said, 'Thaî's il. We're going."' She was among 3001 t0 audition in Pennsylvania, wbere contestants had 10 performi one country song trom a lîsi et 50 iii front of a panel of judges. Ms Sales sang 'Sometbing More' by Sugarland. "I feli really good about t,- she said. "We were Just having se rnucb tun." After the first day, judges cul 300) contestants down le 63 -and Ms Sales was still standing. Ms Sales said. -Ih would be the best job ever." A Milton native. Ms Sales uses words like 'gaI' and 'darlin' -she seems like a natural fit for country music. "My voice has always sort ot lent îtself 10 country," she said. "hî's a lot of fun and I tbink what they're doing wiîh country now is really exciting." She admits that country music didn't interesi her untîl Shania Twain bit the scene. "She kînd of convînced me that it was cool," Ms Sales said. -I ihink Shania's awesomne." She's also a fan of Patsy ClIme, Faith Hill, "and of course," she saîd smîlîng, "Dierks Bently. who l'd like to marry.
