Photo by GRA4HAM PAINE Steeles Avenue <Regional Road 8) at Fifth Line (N) Intersection Re-alignment and Road Works Town 0f Halton His The Planning and Public Works Committee for the Regional Municipality of Halton proposes at its meeting on Wednesday, July 6th, 2005 to recommend to Regional Council at its meeting *of Wednesday, July l3th, 2005 to pass a by-law pursuant to the Municipal Act, S.0. 2001, Chapter 25, as amended, for the re-alignment of the existing T-intersection of Fifth Line (N) at Steeles Avenue <Regional Road 8) and the construction of an eastbound left-turn lane, in the Town of Halton His. These road improvements are réequired to service the proposed development of the lands north of Steeles Avenue (Regional Road 8) in conjunction with the approved Highway 401 lntegrated Planning Project and OfficiaI Plan Amendment, Town of Haton Hilîs. As a result of this re-alignment, the existing intersection of Fifth Line (N) at Steeles Avenue (Regional Road 8) wiIl be closed when the new intersection is completed and opened to traffic.
