Visitors will be able to find out more about the Vitality Centre in a session at 1:30 p.m., and at 2 p.m. there'Il be a workshop on labour support and doulas. of Halton NOTICE OF PUBLIC INFORMATION CENTRE #1 Tremaine Road (Regional Road 22) and James Snow Parkway (Regional Road 4) Transportation Corridor Improvements, Town of Milton Class Environmental Assessment Study The Regional Municipality of Halton is carrying out a Class Environmental Assessment for Tremaine Road (Regional Road 22) and James Snow Parkway (Regional Road 4) Transportation Corridor in the Town of Milton (refer to map below). This assessment will consider a wide range of options for transportation corridor improvements to satisfy future travel demands in the Sherwood Survey Secondary Plan area. The transportation component of the study is being conducted in compliance with Schedule C of the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (June 2000), which is approved under the Ontario Environmental Assessment Act. A key component of the study will be consultation with interested stakeholders (public and regulatory agencies) at two Public Information Centres (PICs). The first PIC has been arranged for: Date: Wednesday, June 8, 2005 Time: 6:00 - 6:30 p.m. Drop-In centre 6:30 - 9:00 p.m. Presentation followed by question and answer session Place: Milton Sports Centre, Banquet Room 605 Santa Maria Boulevard, Milton The purpose of the PIC is to review and obtain public input on the corridor alternatives for Tremaine Road and James Snow Parkway extension, factors for analysis and the selection of the preferred corridor. The preferred corridor is being selected by considering the Natural Environment, Social, Economic and Transportation Operation effects and impacts.
