The Revised Bylaw will be presented at a Public Open House for comment before a final version is prepared for Regional Councils consideration. Also, the Halton Regional Officiai Plan Five Year Review identified the need to revise Haltons Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Guidelines. Regional Council approved the existing EIA Guidelines in 1979. The purpose of an EIA is to identify and assess the potential environmentai impacts and mitigation measures of a land-use development proposai.
