The last two title games - for bantams and midgets -needed a shoot-out to decide. This followed a one-goal squeaker at the peewee level and some more decisîve games at the younger ranks. The following is a quick mundown of the seven championship showdowns, in order of gaines played. Novice Adam Evans delivered a timely hat-trick and powered bis Towne Dental squad to, a 4-1 triumph over GoodLife. Te momning standout tallied twice early on - with Joey DePaiva setsing up both goals - and then solidified the victory wha solo effort in the final minute of play. Brenden Calveet also lit thse lamp for Towne Dental, while GoodIfe lone marker was notched by Ryan Hunier. il Minor Atom In the most convincing championship clash of the day David Laing exploded for five goals and an assist while Johnathan Pearson was flawless between the pipes to highlight Mitamnstone Construction's 6-0 whitewash of the Milton Firefighters. Laing struck four times in the ftrst period alone. while ail but one of his goals was unassisted. Brandon Teipstia provided that lone set-up, wbile the victors'other goal came from Zac Smith. Atom Two early goals and a fundarnentally-sound effort allowed Regal Home Inspections to topple Chrysier 6- 1. Andrew Levear had a pair of goals, while contributing a goal and an aasist each were Julian Coobs, Scott Ford, A.J. Retera- Robinson and Aidan Young. Jake Matheson drew two helpers. Chrysier broke the thutout with under five minutes remnaining. Doing the honours with an unassisted deposit wss Michael Lobb. Minor Peewee Mark McKelvie scored with five-and-a-half mrinutes remamning, but it wasn't enough an his Computer Brothers teain felI 3-1 to, Agex Corp. Mike Cemovich broke a scoreless stalemate mdway through period two - with help from Alex Searle - while Mario Donofrio and Kyle McKay put things away with third-period goals less than a minute-and-a-half spart. McKelvie's lone marker for Computer Brothers was set up by Daniel Mikulic and Cory Ouwendyk. Peewee Brian's Auto eked by Austen and Noble Insurance 3-2, thanks 10 a two-goal performance by Brad Fitzsimnions and solid cage work by Daniel Waller. He and netminding counterpart Dan Husarewycb put on a credible duel down the sîretcb after the vic- tors secured 2-1 and 3-2 period leads. Addison MacMillan also dented the twine for Brian's Auto, while Henry Liptay had a cou- ple of helpers. Scoring for Austen and Noble were Sanjay Moodie and Ricaroo Raduka. Bantam Fnllowing a scoreless regulation. Gus Mowbray eclipsed Conbell 2-l in a shoot-out, with the gamne finally decided with the very last shot - deposited by Bobby Filîman. Gus Mowbray's Lewis Wain and Tyler Wilson of Conbell also, lit the lamp. Delivering an exceptional goaltending duel through three fiercely-contested periods were Forrest Panterson and Cody Saftic of Conheil and Gus Mowbray respectively. Midget Michael Brown of Brian's Auto evened things up with just over a minute remaining in the third period -on his second of the night - and then helped sink Dream Car Garage 6-4 with the first of three shoot-out deposits. Aiding in the do-or-die lime victory with subsequent scoring were Michael King and Alex Pearson.
