Mito Milton Home Hardware Building Centre does ît again' (905)_878-2721 Rescue my bathroom Last winter ta kick off the Grand Opening of their new kitchen displays and introduce the Design Centre, and Home Instais Division, Milton Home Hardware Building Centre ran the "UgIy Kitchen Contest " North Halton met this promotion with great enthusiasm. Hoping for 50 to 60 entries, "Home" was delîghted to receive one hundred and thirty-four entries! Local resdjents fîlled out entry forms, took the requested two pictures and wrote commentary, describîng their current kitchen woes. As a resuit, sending Milton photo labs into overdrive! The dream kitchen makeover con- test was a difficuit event to judge, as many kitchens were in need of help, in varied degrees. Three qualified judges took three days to narrow down one hundred and thirty-four, f0 tive final- ists. Multons own mayor, the Honourable Gordon Krantz then drew the winner out of a hat, on the evenîng of February 16th. Although the winner was not required to be present for the draw, imagine fsow thrilled Lînda Bailey was to be at the store with her family by her side, when her name was announced. Mrs. Bailey is now the proud owner of a beautiful Lexington Maple Kîtchen, wîth ail the trîmmîngs. The siate grey granite sînk and designer faucet compliments the cabînetry. The new layout is more eff icient wîth more storage and workspace. Her choîce of laminate countertops and new lami- nate flooring completed a whole new, roorn for Mrs, Ba çy. Milton Home Hardware Building Centre would like to thank ail the par- tîcipatîng vendors, for their contribu- tions, and support in making thîs event such a success. To ail the North Halton homeowner, who willîngly displayed their "Ugly Kitchens ". Thank-you for making this a fun event. At the end of evening on February 15th, as everyone shared a piece of celebratory cake and a cup of coffee, their were whispers about the crowd, "Is an ugly bathroom contest next?« Milton Home Hardware Building Centre, does it again! "RESCUE MY BATHROOM« con- test starts Tuesday September 7th. Entry forms can be picked up in the store, along with contest rules.
