The I-aiton police service ranks number one among the flve Ontarto police services that fulfilled the higbest number of free- dom of information requesis. "Once again. Halton Regional Police Services carned partîcular note for main- taîning a 1 (X) per cent compliance rate:' the report read. Althougb it's likely other smaller police services alsiî hase an unblemisbed rate of compliance. they don't receive nearly as many requests as Halton police. said Bob Spence. spokesperson for the Information and Prisacy Coîmmissioner. Halîon's accomplishment stands oui all the more vhen compared with the Toronto Police Service's response rate of 32.5 per cent- the lowest among the Oive top serv- tces- deemed unacceptable by Ms Cavoukian.
