The drama unfolded T1hursday when Juaia May noticed one of the ilamas at her No. 20 Sideroad property was nussrng. It didn't take ber long to figure out what had made Bambi boît, she said. It seems Burt, Bambi's father, decided he was sick of Bambi try- mng to keep the attention of the female ilamas alto himself, Ms May said. A fight broke out between thse father and son, and Bambi left, jumping over the fence to freedom. Halton Regional Police officers showed up later that day, Ms May said. -They blocked off the road and tried to catch it with the help of neighbours," she told The Champion yesterday moming. She said the many people rnvolved in the initial attempt to capture Use young animal only served to scare it, and it ran into the bush.
