Groups funding palliative care room at Milton District Hospital A new palliative care room for patients and their families is being made possible through a generous donation to the Milton District Hospital Foundation. The donation was made by the Milton Lions Club and the Deidre and Friends Foundation, which contributed $13,500 and $6,0) at Milton District Hospital, respectively. "Friends and family members of patients living through their final days will be able to share these dif- ficult moments in more comfort and privacy," said Cindy McDonell, chief operating officer Wednesday.
