These Directions encompass issues such as: " a firmr urban boundary and urban policies to accommodate growth to year 2021 " enhanced policies to increase the suppiy of affordabie housing " policies and programs to support the long term viability of Halton's agricuiturai industry " an updated and expanded Greenlands System " commitments to improving air and water quality " enhanced policies to support a cost-efficient, intergrated Transportation network The main purpose of Amendment 25, "An Amendment To Incorporate Officiai Plan Review Directions and Related Matters," is to amend current policies and to introduce new policies to effect the Review Directions as endorsed by Council. As weii, additional related matters based on on-going studies by the Region such as the Transportation Master Plan are being considered for inclusion into the Officiai Plan.
