So when in came time to offer a series of music appreciatios semi- nars, he decided no leave bis CDs an home and inatead bring with him real performers - a string quartet, a woodwmnd quinnen, a soprano singer... to namne a few. Beginning March 30, Mr. Stratton will bring 'A Little Night Music' - a guided tour of classical musie - to St. Paul's United Church, 123 Main St. E. The programn will include six weekly sessions fromn 7:30 no 9:30 p.m. - each exploring a différent aspect of classical music -plus a drens rehearsal for the Toronto Philharnnonia, of which Mr. Stranton is conductor and music direcnor. The course costs $149. Its designed to give participants a deeper appreciation of music. "The more you know about the art form, the more you can enjoy it. We wouldn't take someone to a basebaîl game without telling them the miles of the gamne. But we do that with concerts,: Mr. Stratton said. "You've got to know the mIles and objectives."
