The second annual Sports Celebrity Dinner & Auction was held on Tuesday, January 20 at Granite Ridge Golf Club. The M.C. was Gord Stellick and the Keynote Speaker was Dennis Hull. Other recognized celebrities attending were Wendel Clark, Mamie McBean, Luc Ouellette, Mike O'Shea and Mike Morreale. Ail the celebrities were very personable and approachable and seemed to be enjoy themselves very much. Attendeea were able to bid on some much-sought-after sports memorabilia through both a silent auction and a live auction. There was plenty of opportunity to obtain autographa and to chat with the celebrities. Dinner was superb and Dennis was absolutely hilarious as the Keynote Speaker. This classy event is obviously becoming a highlight of the year for aIl local sports' enthusiasta. We thank our generous sponsors for help in making this event possible.
