The year 2004 promises to be just as exciting for the Milton Chamber of Commerce and its members as it was last year. We continue to be pleased with the dynamic growth taking place within our town and the surrounding area, ail this will mean for our businesses, for the Chamber, and for our personal lives. The Chamber's mandate, of course, is to promote the Milton business community and the businesses of our members. We will continue to be vigilant in monitoring the policits and actions of govemments and public agencies to ensure that they are friendly to the business community and that they don't unnecessarily harnptr our business prospects. During 2004 tht Chamber has many high profile events planned. These events promise to btsa great deal of fun but they will also serve to promote our businesses. In January we will be staging a second Sports Celtbrity Dinner and Auction , in February we will hoat tht annual Community Awards Gala to honour community and business achievement, in May we are planning another Showcast Milton that will be on a much grander scale than any such event Milton has ever seen before, and in June will be our ever-growing and vtty popular Golf Toumnament. Our monthly "Business After Hours" have become "must attend" events and are just ont example of what your Chamber membership offers.
