Calleti Eco-Tech Village, town coundil approved two key processes at its meeting st week that will see the much-anticipat- ed project move forward in a way tbat bas politicians and bureaucrats tripping over each other with excitement. Mattamy Homes - a major home builder in Milton - will begin designing a concept plan of how the Eco-Tech subdivi- sion will look and feel using Town-estab- lished engineering guidelines, from the way trees are planted to the way storm management ponds are used. Also, the Town will take part in a study using wind energy, and in paruicular wind turbines, as an alternate source to generat- ing power.
