The First World War ended in 1918 and now The Champion is joining forces with the Milton Historical Society and the Royal Canadian Legion in the search for photos of tse 68 men Iisted on Use Milton and Nassagaweya -monu- ments in Victoria Park and Haltonville. It's part of a 'remembering" project undertaken as a tribute to "Use men we neyer knew." As part of Use historical society's research program, Councillor John Challinor has tracked down as much detail as officiai records can provide. It has heen a months'-long search. The resuit is a major document that needa photos of Use men to add 10 Use details so Usey may speak wiUs faces to future generations. The hunt is on for photos of Use men, preferably hut not necessari- ly, in uniformn. The historical society published "Milton Remembers World War 1l" written by Ken Lasmb in 1995. It contains photos of Usose killed in Use Second World War from Use Victoria Park oenotaph. This proj- ect is an attempt to complete Use record.
