Baked Macaroni and Cheese 2 cups elbow macaroni 2 tsp. sait 1 tsp. freshiy ground pepper 3 tbsp. butter 3 tbsp. flour 1 1/2 cupa miik 1 medium chopped onion 2 1/2 to 3 cups grated chedidar cheese Pre.heat oven to 350 degrees F Cook pasta and 1 tsp. sait in boiiing water until ai dente. Drain and set aside. While pasta je cooking, meit butter in a saucepan on medium heat. Stir in fiour and mix weii. Slowiy pour in miik, whiie stirung constantiy to a smooth consis- ten)cy. Bring to a boil whiie stili Stirling. Remnove from heat and add sait, pepper and chopped onion. Put pot back on iow heat and stir in the cheese until meited. Add the macaroni and mix weii.
