Rookie Mike DeMarchi and Raider-turned-lceHawk Ryan Angelow temporarily revived hope for kicking off a seventh straight season in triumph - scoring six seconds apart midway through the third to draw within a goal. But the pnwerhnuse visitnrs - who'll he tough to match mus- cle and offensive depth with again this season - nixed the tumn- around with a last-mmnute empty nenter. Milton was without tIse services of three veterans and was fur- ther stifled at crunch timne with Angelow - who'd assisted on three goals before scoring himself - serving a 10-minute mis- conduct. Adversity aside, thse IceHawks showed they'l1 need a lot of work if they hope to bring their execution in line with their effort and energy. Jamnie Flury struggled for much of the night, but did rchound with a solid third period to keep the comnehack hid alive, while contrihuting a goal and an assiat each*were captain Lee Swailow and Andrew Bonello.
