She went into another room where she saw the matn, who fled thirough a bedroom window. She called police, who responded with the canine unit but were unable to locate the man. They have no description. No propcrty was taken. Assault charge laid A woman bas heen charged after a breathalyzer test was refused and a Halton Regional Police off icer kicked July 3. At about 10:30 p.m.. police said they stopped a female driver at Guelph Line and No. 15 Sideroad. Their request for a road- side breathalyzer test was refused. A woman was arrested and a brief strug- gle ensued. She was handcuffed and taken to the police station where she allegedly kicked an officers leg. There were no injuries. Charged with refusing a roadside screen- îng device and assaulting a police officer is a 52-year-old Mississauga woman. Youths charged in theft Four youths were charged after W.. Dick School on Highside Drive was bro- ken into last week. At about 4 a.m. July 3, a security guard heard the schools alarm sound and saw two individuals at the side of the school and two coming out ot the building wîth electronic equipment. Charged with break and enter are two 17-year-old Toronto youths and two 15- year-old Milton youths. One of the Toronto youths was also charged with possession of break and enter tools. Police Blotter Impaired charge laid A man ssas charged with impaired driv- ing N4onday. An off -duty RCMP officer - who had been following a driver he thought might be impaired- alerted police, who responded to First Line, north of No. 20 Sideroad, at 9:30 p.m. Charged with impaired driving and blowing over the limit was a 61-year-old Guelph man. Home broken into A rural home on Steeles Avenue was bro- ken into June 28. Sometime between 5:30 and 11:30 p.m., unknown suspects furced open the locked rear door and stole jewelry and other items. The estimated value of the stolen proper- ty is $8,000. Machinery stolen A thefi of machinery occurred between last Friday and Monday in the area of James Snow Parkway and Regional Road 25, where it was stored. Unknown suspects stole a grey Rigid 300 power machine with an estimated value of $3,000. Tools stolen A Nipissing Road company was broken into sometime ovemight last Fniday. Unknown suspects entered the GM Packaging Equipment facility by removing an unlocked steel frame window. They proceeded to take various tools with an 1Police probe school break-in Halton Regional Police are investîgating a break-in at Milton District High School. Ovemnight June 16. a window was smashed at the back ot the sehool, located ai 396 Williams Ave. Suspects climbed through a window, gaining access to the custodians office. Once inside, they ran- sacked the office, damaged vaious items and stole a $300 printer.
