Night clubs handed fines for permitting -smoking Two Milton establishments pleaded guilty in provincial offences court last week to a number of smoking-relaîed charges. Yahooz Music Grill on Chisholm Drive and the H-ardball Café on Regional Road 25 were both handed fines June 9. Yahooz was ordered 10 pay $1,500 for three charges under Multon's no-smoking hylaw, which prohibits smoking in bars and restaurants. A fine of $500 was ordered for each charge. The offences occurred in April. Last month, Yahooz was convicted in court and ordered 10 pay a total of $2,000 for four charges that were laid in February under the no-smoking bylaw. Thse Hardball Café was ordered to, pay a total of $1,395 for nine charges- $155 for each one - under the no-smoking bylaw.
