Based on input providedR. from stakeholders, technical agencies D R and public participants, as well as on an M assessment by the study team, the Region has determined that the x preferred solution is widening of Derry r Road from two lanes to four lanes, m including improvements to the existing WA horizontal alignment. The study was conducted in compliance with Schedule 'C' of the Municipal Engineers Association Municipal Class EnvironmentalAssessment (June 2000). In accordance with the Municipal Class EA, an Environmental Study Report (ESR) was prepared to document the planning and decision-making processes followed. By this notice, the ESR is being placed on the public record for a 30-day review period in accordance with the requirements of the Municipal Class EA. Subject to comments received as a result of this notice, the Region intends to proceed with detailed design and construction of the section of Derry Road from Fifth Line to Ninth Line.
