The maps below illustrate the approximate study area for the proposed new water purification plant and required infrastructure. Alternative locations for the water purification plant, low lift pumping station and ather facilities have been identified and are being reviewed. A key component of the study involves the presentation of these alternatives and the details of the evaluation process ta înterested stakeholders (public and regulatory agencies) at Public Information Centres (PICs). The maps above show the appraximate study area. Map 1 shows the area for the water purification plant and Map 2 shows the area for the required infrastructure The first PIC is ta be held: Date: Time: Thursday June 26h', 2003 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Location: GlenorchylDakota Roomns et Halton Regional Headquarters 1151 Bronte Rd, OakvIIe This PIC will provide interested stakeholders with an opportunity ta meet the Project Team, review the study scope, and ta discuss the issues related ta the project including the preferred location for the water purification plant and required infrastructure.
