A number of planning and design alternatives __ R- were considered. Based on input provided from stakeholders, technical agencies a nd ~ /~ 1 public participants, as welI as on an H 5 assessment by the study team, the Region has f I determined that the preferred solution is -/ widening of Derry Road from two lanes ta four Y -Ji~ lanes, including improvernents ta the existing j,/ J !ý i horizontal alignment. The study was conducted in compliance with Schedule 'C'of the Municipal Engineers Association Municipal C/ass Environmental Assessment (June 2000).
