As directed by Council, Regional staff undertook an extensive consultation program on the Directions Report and the thirteen technical background papers from mid-September 2002 to early February 2003, which included numerous open houses, workshops, and meetings with individual interest groups. Based on the comments/submissions received, staff has prepared a "Response t0 Comments on Directions Report (March 2003)", and a "Submissions Document (march 2003)". Through Staff Report PPW43-03 in the agenda of the Region's Planning and Public Works Committee meeting on March 19, 2003, these documents are being released to the public and agencies for comment and a statutory public meeting will be held to receive public comments on the Officiai Plan Review.
