Seventeen choirs auditioned November 19 to 21 at Hopedale Shopping Centre in Oakville as part of the first annual 'By the Kids, For the Kids' Choirs Festival. The fmnal nine were chosen for the CD by Canadian recording artist Gerry Clendenning, Michael Thompson from the Oakville Interlink Choir and Liane Moore, marketing director of Hopedale Shopping Centre.
