But Sunday evening tbey switched gears and displayed a knack for drama- eras- ing a late deficit to preserve local rep bock- ey's longest win streak in recent memory. The Milton superstar not only made bis NHL debut with the Nashville Predators at the United Center that night, but alto sus- tained the first significant injury of bis hockey career. Haydar initially appeared to be okay following a thunderous third-peri- od check from Chicago Blackhawkt detenceman Steve Poaptt, but was later found to have suffered a concussion. As a result, he's missed the last three games with is AHL Milwaukee AdmiraIs. He flew back to Nashville Sunday evening and was re-examined yesterday. Results were not available at press time. Up until now, the AHL's Rookie of the Month for October bad neyer missed a gamne due to injury - mncluding during his four years at New Hamnpshire University, where he holds recordt for contecutive gaines played and total number of gaines played. Haydar was hoping 10 be cleared to play in time to catch up with the AdmiraIs for either tonight's gaine in Sans Antonio or tomorrow's gaine in Cincinnati.
