Surprisingiy enough, the provincial winners' two most convine- ing decisions came againststhe heavily-favoured Wateroo Tigers. The Roxul-sponsored locals handed tbem a couple of f-ive-inning mercies - including a 19-9 Sunday afternoon blowout to ciinch the titie.- "Every pitcher they threw as us, we just cmusbed it (bail) ail over the field," said jubilant manager Glenn Turner. whose juniors were fn-st in both regular season and league playoff action as wcll, while fmiùshing with an overail record of 32-7. "And with our pisching and defense being as good as it was this year, once we gos the upper hand they had nu intention of relin- quithing it." Rookie Kevin Cooper picked up the win in the finals, whilc closing things ont was Mats Dickson.
