By FANNIE SUNSHINE The Champion A Mississauga womnan suffered non-life threaten- ing injuries after her Honda Civic was struck by a tow truck at the corner of Trafalgar and Derry roads Monday. Halton police's regional traffic unit, the Milton Fire Department and ambulance personnel were called to Trafalgar Road, in front of Van Dongen's Tree Farim, at about 11:50 a.m. According 10 police, the driver of the Honda was attempting to exit the parking lot of the tree faimn when she was t-boncd by the tow truck. A transport truck parked on the shoulder of the road might have obstructed her view of on-comning traffic, police said. Driver trapped in vehicle It took firefighters about 30 minutes to free the trapped woman, who was conscious. The drivers side of the Honda received substantial damnage to the windshield and door. 'he car's airbag was alto deflated. Jo-Tzu Wang, 23, was taken 10 Milton District Hospital and later transferred to Hamilton General Hospital, where she was listed in good condition as press lime yesterday. The driver of the tow truck, Steven Lewis, 27, of Cambridge, wasn't hurt. Police say charges are pending. Trafalgar Road was closed for about an hour while police inves- tigated.
