Canadian Cancer Society volunteers will be out selling daffodils April 4th-6th to launch the Canadian Cancer Society's Daffodil Month, when volunteers knock on neighbourhood doors for donations. "We hope the people of North Halton will once again be generous in their support this year during our Daffodil Month" says John Perrott, President of the Milton Branch. "The Canadian Cancer Society would not be able to offer important community services or cancer research without the much appreciated help of volunteers and donors." Last year, almost $10 million was raised across Ontario through the residential canvass. "Most of our volunteers canvass their own neigh- bourhoods," says Mr. Perrott. "So the face that you see at the door this April will not only be familiar but also a face in the fight against can- cer."
