Diabetes requires making signîficant, long-term lifestye changes including healthy eating and getting regular aerobic exercise to help regulate blood sugar, reduce risk of heart disease, and maintain a healthy weight. Vision and folot care are also impor- tant. Individuals attending this fair will obtain information on diabetes management through healthy eating and active living. A variety of community health services will be on hand to answer questions and to provide information on available products and services.
