Taler Vox, an urban electric folk rock band, will perform Friday at thc Grandstand. The pet show, a faîl fair favourite, will take place Saturday and Sunday. "We change thc sections froru year t0 year," Ms Comber said . Because of the diversity in interest from fair visitors if's hard t0 pin point tbe most popular events, she said. l"Young kids love the midway. We always draw huge crowds for the demolition derby; it's always a favourite. Parents will take their kids through the 'Agricultural Awareness' barn to sec the mini horses and the shcep sheerer. Kids like 10 get close to thc animais." The theme for this year's fair is 'Becs', Ms Comber said. "Lasi year's theme was Apples. We have different prize catc- gonies that have something to do with becs, like crafis with becs or dressing your pet to look like a bec. The fairgrounds will also be decorated with (constructed) becs. Region seeks input The Region of Halton is lookmng toc some direction troru the public as il prepares a new strategie plan.
