A slow star saw them trailing 6-1, but they battled back to tie the gaine and force it into extra innings. Using the international die breakin& rule, each teain scored a mun in the eighth inning and a mun in the ninth. Conan O'Brien threw out the would-be winning mun at the plate and the gaine ended in a staiemate. Evan Jeans and Michael Volpe each had two bits. The Red Sox had another slow start against Ottawa in their second gamne. They trailed 7-I at the end of the third inning and went on to lose 11-2. In their final contest, Milton defeated Kitchener 7-4. Scott Connoily and Chris Dumencu each had a pair of safeties, and Ryan Harper wenîtishe distance on the mound, allowing only six bits.
