Watch out, I'm getting irritated ,, from THIS STICKY page 12 the movies, but there again I've been geîîing imrtated. Wha's with ail these jumbo sized drinks and snacks that cost almost as much as the movie ticket? A medium soft drink shared between lwo peo- ple would last about three movies. If you get the large drink you receive free reftlls, but if you managed to finish one of those, you'd miss a hunk of the movie running back and forth from the washroom, any- way. Why are normal sizes good enough for everywhere but the movies? Okay, I'm feeling a little bet- ter now, but there's another thing that irritates me. t has nothing to do with any- thing, but I see il ail the ime on television, especially when someone is making a speech or a thank you for winning an award. "I'd like 10 thank my beautiful wife," or "my lovely wife." Why is il necessary to refer to îhemn in some way that lhey look? They may not even be beautiful, but they're always referred 10 that way. Why aren't they thanking their "intelligent wife?" Women who win awards neyer îhank their "handsome" husband. Yet anoîher thing that's been bugging me refers 10 conven- ience stores. No malter where you go, the clerks always seemn 10 be talking on the telephone. The line-up could be halfway 10 the door and everybody has t0 wait while they finish their conversation. I don'î gel il. And just who are they talking 10 at 3 in the momning? I could go on, but I'm not going 10 complain anymore, it's much 100 hot for thal.
