Retrospectively, we realize just how much the students of Bishop Reding have accomplished this past year. The 2000/2001 Student Govemment was suc- cessful in running many memorable events including: the annual Snowflake BaIl, Murder Mystery and "Operation: Cut Mr. Jurus' Hair". BR's numerous community efforts allowed the school to recognize the student body can make a difference. These events included: blanket and tent drives, three successful food drives and a Social Justice Benefit evening. Bishop Reding Athletics also had an outstanding year. Many of our teams saw their best perform- ances ever. In their third Football season, the Senior Royals defeated Loyola in theT 'ier II championship held at Ivor Wynne Stadium. The cast and crew of this event, as well as the annual Talent Show, demon- strated their many hidden talents. The Cosmetology Departonent was thriving this year with its "Hair X-tacy" performance. This group along with the many clubs, academic teams and those who participated in the Rome 2001 trip demonstrated the diversity among Bishop Reding students.
