Meanwhile, Milton sent four other swimmers to the national trials. Tbe bigbly versatile preteen upstaged her opposi- tion in two strokes and various distances, establisb- ing a couple of meet records along tbe way en route to securing tbe high-point trophy in ber age class. Fraser's best efforts were reserved for thse 100- metre butterfly and 200m individual medley - for wbicb sbe set new toumament bencbmarks. She also prevailed in tbe 200m butterfly, 200m freestyle and grueling 800m freestyle. Her standout performance came just tbree weeks after a golden sweep at tbe Ontario Division II Team Cbampionships in Etobicoke. Meanwbile, Milton sent five otber representatives to Guelpb - ail of wbom delivered medal-winning swims. In tbe boys 10 and under division, David Dimiùtrov grabbed goîd in tihe 400m freestyle, silver in botb thse 50m backstmoke and 200m individual medley plus a bronze in tbe 200m freestyle. He rounded things out witb a fourtb in tbe I100m freestyle. Among femnales in tbe samne age group, Victoria Poole secured silver in thse 200m breaststroke and was just sby of a medal in tbree other events - fin- isbing fourtb in thse 200m individual medley, 400m freestyle and 50m freestyle. Eleven and I 2-year-old teammates Jacqueline Clarke and Jasmine Davis posted one silver-medal effort eacb - in tbe 200m backstroke and 400m freestyle respectively.
