This two-day conference will be held next Tuesday and May 31 at the Holiday Inn, 3063 South Service Rd., in Buringlon from 8:30 ar.. 0 3:30 p.m. Building on the success from last year's conference, Halton women wil11 leam about job prospects for tihe future, local trainng programs, resources available in the com- munity and tips for balancing work and family. Working in smaîl groups, partici- pants will also spend lime identifying per- sonal akills, strengtbs and intereats 10, help tind the type of job that suits eacb person. 'Studentfinalist in contest Milton District Higb Scîsool student Tenille Lou-Hing was one of three winners chosen for the Intergenerational Essay Contest. Thse contest, sponsored by the Halton chapter of Canada's Association for thse Fifty-Plus (CARP), was open 10 ail sec- ondary studenîs in Halton. Each school was requested 10 submit ils best entry 10 the chapter. The winners wili be announced at the group's meeting tomorrow night. Prizes of $300, $200 and $100 will be awarded.
