That was the story for the Halton His' peewee hockey team recently at the Ontario 'B' Championships. The Twisters - aided by Miltonians Lisa Brown and Kira Metslaar - were within strik- ing distance of a quarterfinal victory over Cobourg. But a late reversai of fortune saw them squander a moiti-goal lead and lose 5-4. The gamne winner was notched inside the final two minutes of play. The oss was doubîy disappointing since Cobourg went on to win the titie, something Halton His may welb have done if victorious in the quartertinals. Metselaar buried the biscuit in that game and fin- ished the toumament with two goals and a pair of helpers while Brown drew a helper and provided rock- solid defense the entioe weekend. Unfortunately, Etobicoke didn't enjoy much team success - going 0-2-1 for an early exit. The highlight of their weekend was a i-I stalemate with Mississauga. Mulé picked up an assist in that encouniter and fol- lowed that up with another assist and a goal in the ensuing tosses. Campbellville's Hannah Mott also enjoyed some individual success in the "A" peewee Ioop. As one of the goalies for the Burlington Barracudas, she whitewashed Sudbury 2-O in game two of the round robin and then showed strongly in quarterfinal play againat Willowdale. However, her teammates couldn't give her much offensive support in that one and bast 3-I1, with an empty-net goal sealing the deal. Feel You Don't Have Control 0f Vour Investment Portfolio?
