TAKE NOTICE THAT: * Every owner of a dog shahl, within seven (7) days of ownership, cause each dog tobe licensed and registered with the Clerk's office'. The owner shah keep the tag securely fixed on the dog at ail times; " Every cat owner shai place on the cat a collar on wh ich is permanently inscibed the naine and address of the owner; " No person shall keep more than two (2) dogs in the Urban ares; three (3) dogs in the Rural ares; " No person shall keep more than dmre (3) cats n tbe Urban area; five (5) cats in the Rural area (unless in bamns and other agrcultural buildings); " No animal owner shall permit his or bier animal to be at large on any public place;, *No animal owner shall permit his or bier animal to be at large on any private property without the consent of the property owner. Note: An animal shall be deemed to bu running a large if found in any place other than the premnises of the owner and not under the control of any person; *The owners of dogs and cats shali be responsible for the remnoval snd sanitary disposai of any excrement of the animal front any private or publie lands and failing to do solis gullty of an offence. Ail residents are requested to adhere to the requirements of By-Iaw No. 70-95. DOG TAGS ARE YOUR PET'S PROTECTION. By icensing and ensuring that the tag remains on the dog at ail times, increases the chances of having your pet retumned home. Please note there lsaa "Lifetime" License fée for dogs with microchip.
