Everyone loves chocolate, and of course the more you have the better right? Well for aIl you chocolate loyers, starling next week the Gr. 12 Entrepreneurship Class will be selling tickets for t he Easter Raffle. You cao win baskets that are filled with lots of yummy chocolate and candy, as well as stuffed rabbits. The baskets are being disployed in the window across from the Business Ed Office, s0 check them out and boy your tickets! Do you bave a special talent that you want to show off'? Maybe you play a musical instrument, or dance, sing, tell funny jokes or act? Then why not display your talents in our Talent Spotlight Night. There will be a meeting April l5th starting at 9:00 am in the music room, so if yoo are interested come on out. Have you ever wanted to travel to England or Scotland? Weil, March Break 2002 is your chance to do so! Next March Break Ms. Rowe and Miss Miller will be taking a group of Senior students on this trip. DRURY 1110H SCRO0O6 Joanne Gunding Linds.y Harrold The Prom Committee has spoken... Yesterday, Drury held ils very own Survival Challenge. Students froru ail grade levels came out to either corn- pete or to encourage the brave souls laying their pride out on the line for pure Locker Bay enjoyment! This fun event included gorging on ail kinds of fouI concoctions created by the Student Govemnment. To tic in with the same theme, the Prom Committee held lavt night's Survival Dance. Unlike in the show "Sorvivor", every member of Drury's student body was welcomed 10 the dance. (Note: Prom 2001 will be held Tuesday, Jonc 26 - not Thorsday!) Others involved in fierce competition this week where Colin Bumham, Matt Knock, Jesse Rowan and Adam Boxter who ail travelled 10 Saskatoon for the National Juvenile Wrestling Championships. Thanks to current technology the stodent body was able to vend words of encouragement 10 these fine athletes. No doubt they will moke Drory prood! As well, to add to the excitement of the week, the resoîts came bock from the Sear's Drama Festival. Drury's team of only five cool members were awarded 2 Awords of Excellence and 2 Awards of Ment. This wav the highest ratio of awords handed ouI 10 any team. To odd to the success, the cost's fabuloos performance was among the top two, which means they will now advance 10 the Regionals! Despite the lime change, everyone is stilî brimming wiîh energy. As the days are filled with more and more sonshine, we know that il will only be a few short monîbs until anoîher year bas passed us by.
