"The policy must provide some choîce to parents at each school and we're working on t,' said Educaion Director Dusty Papke. "Whether it's uniforros or a dress code, the decisions will involve parents ai each school. A provincial policy announced recently will require each school 10 respond to the dress codeluniform issue. 'he board is awaiting furiher informa- tion from the Province about what's required, said board Chair Ethel Gardiner. She said she believes votes may be required among parents ai individual schools about whether to have unil'orms. *l1t's hard 10 find oui what the whole con- sensus is," ssid the chair. "Some people think it's a great ides and some think il's a terrible ides. It will prob- ably bc a controversial issue in a lot of school communities.'
