The organization kicked off its annual fundraising drive with a golf tournament aI Granite Ridge Golf Club September 19. About 90 golfers took part and generaîrd $19000 for the cause, said Anne Eadie, esecutive director of the United Way of Milton. This year, the local chapter hopes to raise $280000, which wilFbeoefiî about 25 organizations throughout Halton Region.
