On September 26, participants of Milton Place and Friends' Landing watched a short video that hîgbligbted some of the hall- nf-l'amers accomplishments. They also Iistened as the four-time Queen's Plate winner spoke about his 30-year racing career. Mr. Hawley told his audience he was 16 wben he decided to become a jockey. Mr. Hawley said he admired jockey Aveino Gomez, who was famous l'or tise jump he would do off his horse when he won a race. One day, Mr. Hawley told the groomer he was going to try the same jump.
