The allegations are that cus- tomera of the furniture shop left deposits for merchandise they neyer received. The most recent charges stem from incidents alleged te have occurred between Auguat lat year and this menth. The trio are free on their own recognizance and will return te court September 18 to, set a trial date. Mr. Currie was charged with eight counts of fraud carlier this year. Monday was the first time Ms Cumre and Ms Duff were charged thmough this investigation. The only one of the three to apeak at court Monday, Mr. Cumie said their lawyer was waiting to get a handie on the chargea from the Crown. "We're waiting on disclosure, se he would be just as in the dark as we are," he told the court. The investigation, which cern- menced Iast October, is continuing, Halton police said.
