The Sunday, Sept. 10 event St Granite Ridge Golf Clubs will alto mark the officiai launch of the Anglican priest's latest recording - "The Bridge To Us Al'. The event will feature a cocktail recep- tion at 7 p.m. and a performance at 8 p.m. A portion of the evening's proceeda will go to Rote chenry's Home, Ontario's first hospice for terminalîy and chronically ilI kida. The celebration comea shortly after Father curtis' attendance last Friday at hockey legend Bobby Orr's second annual celebrity golf classic. That event raised fonds for Rose chenry's Home ss well s the West Parry Sound Health Centre and the Performing Arts CentrelBobby Orr Hsll of Fame Entertsîtnent Centre. Father curtis spent the day golfing before assuming the role of master of cere- monies at thse golf classic dinner. He also ssng at the event, in the end pocketing a $2.000 cheque for the Rose Cher-ry Home. Also present were Don Cherry, Boston Brui n Derek Ssnderson, qusrterback Johnny Unitis and canadian tenor Michael Burgess.
