That, at letat, is the indication after only a scant handful of residents iumed out for a public information aession at Regional Council Chambers Thursday night. It waa intended as an opinion-gathering forum on the issue of merging the east portion of the Town of Flamborough wîth Burlington, tuming it into a part of Halton. The few residents who attended the meeting seemed to have mild, but neigh- bourly, feelings toward its possible mate. Campbellville resident Bert Walton said he was willing to welcome Flamborough, basically hecause he hadn't found cause not 10. "There's no reason against it," he shrugged. But he'll be watching closely to see what Waierloo Region and Brani County, Flamborough's other potential partners, decîde.
