One of the town's fasteat gmwing recre- ational leagues - which was christened with s hsndful of teams and has since near- ly tripled in size, due to overwhelming demand and support from ares businesses - the MBHIL offers competition for play- ers of ail akill levels. Former junior stars like Darren (Mini) Haydar, Jeif Haydar, Scote Bertoli, Adsm Bertoli, Travis Riggin, Trevor Brandt, Mike Cox, Mike Rusk and Pat Henneberry have traditionaily made up the bulk of the 'A' division. Meanwhile, first-timers or more recre- ational oriented athietes form the 'B' loop. The regular season achedule consista of 15 games -. played at hoth menas Sunday and Monday nights -- with elimination playoffs set to follow in August. Also, 'A' division champs will go on to battie top teama from semas the province in a regional toumament in Qakville. Team and player statisties are posted at the arenas on a weekly basis.
