But ail opposing parties agreed that no intense development should take place on lands currently designated as a buffer area between the escarpment and urban devel- opment. The hearing of the Ontario Municipal Board and the Environmental Assessment and Appeal Board at Town Hall is ongo- ing daily and is expected to wrap up Friday. Yesterday, the Halton Regional Police traffic unit launched an aggressive enforcement campaign with the aim of cutting down on bad driving in the region.
