But just as typically, the entry fortns corne in at the last midnute, said Ms McKee. "Always we're sitting there the Frîday night before the parade stili getting entries," she said: "You get used to it. 'Mis is my fifth year doing it." To mark the last procession of the mil- lennium as well as the 25th anniversary of the Milton parade, organizers were hoping to make a big splash tbis year witb more floata and bigger, better marcbing banda. It's a drcam tbey still hope will cornte truc. "I'm getting 10 or 12 calls a day from people asking about entry formns," said Ms McKee. "A lot of people have started (their floats) already but they just haven't started the paperwork." But other aspects of the parade, assured Ms McKce, are comning along niccly. So far, 12 bands have been booked, including the Top Hats and tbe Teen Tour Band out of Burlington. Fundraising is -also on achedule. But people are stili needed to cornte on board as clowns or characters for the parade, said Ma McKce, who asked that they caîl ber directly at 878-6347.
