Since its inception three years ago, the Fine Arts Society of Milton (FASM) has made a major contribution to the cause of promoting cre- op ative expression and culture, which have an important place in soci- 4,% op 4 ety. FASM president Marion Detlor points'out in an article elsewhere in this newspaper that the arts are blooming ail over Milton. Finally, artists are getting more of the exposure they deserve. We saw the works and abilities of many on the weekend with Arts Milton's Celebration of the Arts festival and we'll see more soon with FASM's Studio Tour (October 23 and 24). Tomorrow, an art show and sale will be held as a fundraiser for Milton Bible Church. This newspaper will also help reflect the town's rich artistic talent 4) through its revamped arts and entertainment section appearing in tpaC today's newspaper and every suisequent second Friday. Now ail we need is an arts centre.
