Despite equipment sbortages and reduced budgets tbey are performing a first class job in providing emergency services at home (flooding, ice storms) or abroad (Kosovo, Bosnia, Cyprus, etc.) Their lives are constantly at risk in war ravaged areas because of bidden mines, unstable foreign military and tbe like. Yet they are dedicated to serving the local area to bring relief and stability under war-like conditions. Each person we spoke to bad an uncompromising dedication to their job, an optimistic attitude regardless of the shortfalls they face as noted and a real pride for serving our country.
