The 10-pin bowl-a-thon hosted by B & R Promotions is at Burlington Bowl, 4065 Harvester Rd. It starts at 6 p.m. "Bowl-a-thons are a really fun way to help homeless animals. We hope a lot of folks will come out to show they care, raise lots of money for the animals and have a great time doing it," stated Brenda Dushko, OMHS manager of fund development and communications in a release. Proceeds will help the 5,000 homeless, abused and neglected animals who come to OMHS every year. Registration costs $35 in advance or $40 at the door, and includes two games, shoe rental and dinner.
